Land and Water Stream Table Observations
( You will make 3-5 land and water observations)

First Names of All 3 Group Members:

Observation # 1

SCIENTIFIC WORDs, .
Pertisciptation
Condensation
Evaporation
Collection

STREAM TABLE OBSERVATIONS:

(Before you begin experimenting)

Write you question here:

Will the water evaporate even with the plastic wrap on?
Write your hypothesis explaining what you think what did you think happen?
We think the water cycle ocurr.

(After your experiment)
Write your observations of what happened today sharing 3 or more details using scientific
First, we put an ice pack on the plastic bag.
Next,a bunch of condensation went on the plastic wrap
Finally, all the water had

Write your conclusion
The water cycle ocurred with the plastic wrap on.

Write down any questions that your group had for further study.

Observation # 2

SCIENTIFIC WORDS(Challenge yourself to include these words in your observations. Your teacher will help you identify these).
Ground Water
Squirt
Collection
Puddle

STREAM TABLE OBSERVATIONS:

(Before you begin experimenting)

Write you question here:
How does rainwater flow on land?

Write your hypothesis explaining what you think will happen:
We think some rocks will tumble down to the bottom.
(After your experiment)
Write your observations of what happened today sharing 3 or more details using scientific words.
When we spinkled the water on our streamtable, it didn't have much effect on the land.
But when rained the water on the land, some of the land wared down. The more we squirted
the water, the more the land wore down because the water washed away the land.

Write your conclusion (Did your results match your hypothesis?)
No rocks went to the bottom except for two rocks.

Observation # 3

SCIENTIFIC WORDS(Challenge yourself to include these words in your observations. Your teacher will help you identify these).
Runoff
Stream
Stream source
Water and soil

STREAM TABLE OBSERVATIONS:

(Before you begin experimenting)

Write you question here:
How might the changes in the land from the stream, be different from the changes caused by rainwater?

Write your hypothesis explaining what you think will happen:
We think a bunch of rocks will tumble down.
(After your experiment)
Write your observations of what happened today sharing 3 or more details using scientific words.
First the stream made a lower path in the ground. Next, a bunch of rocks went down into where the stream collected. Finally, where it collected was basically a lake.

Write your conclusion (Did your results match your hypothesis?)
We concluded that rocks did move, they tumbled down into the lake.
